David Taylor is a commercial litigator, specialising in class actions and product liability matters. David has advised in some of Australia's most significant recent shareholder class actions across a number of industries.

David also regularly advises on product liability and crisis management matters and provides recall advice for major Australian and international companies in the consumer/retail, manufacturing and medical/pharmaceutical sectors.

Prior to joining MinterEllison, David started his legal career at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London and then joined Herbert Smith Freehills in 2006, during which time he undertook a lengthy secondment to a Big 4 Australian bank.

David holds a Master of Arts in Social and Political Sciences from Cambridge University. He undertook his postgraduate legal training at Nottingham Law School. He is admitted in both New South Wales and England & Wales.
