A partner in the firm’s energy and real estate section, David focuses his practice on representing sellers and buyers of oil and gas properties, CO2 properties and related assets such as pipelines, processing plants and contracts.

David works with creditors and borrowers in oil and gas financing matters and conducts due diligence involving oil and gas transactions, including extensive title and documentation experience. He has experience in representing clients in connection with oil and gas exploration and development, including title examination and preparation of oil and gas documents, and represents mineral owners in connection with the handling of leasing of their oil and gas interests. David represents sellers and buyers in rural and commercial real estate transactions, including real estate purchases and sales contracts and the preparation of documents concerning grazing, hunting, solar and wind leases.
