Don serves as a senior investigator for the firm.

Located in Washington, DC, he is a firmwide resource for managing and conducting both domestic and international investigations for Hunton & Williams and its clients.

Prior to entering the private sector, Don had 30 years experience in federal law enforcement with the Office of Labor Racketeering, US Department of Labor, and the Office of Special Investigations, US Government Accountability Office.

Relevant Experience

• Experience in the private sector providing investigative, due diligence and regulatory compliance services to law firms and their corporate clients. Services have included due diligence investigations, internal corporate and compliance investigations, and investigations relating to white collar criminal defense, commercial litigation, intellectual property, health care, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, government contracting and environmental law, as well as many other practices. These efforts have included litigation assistance involving both commercial and criminal defense issues in state and federal courts.
• 17 years of experience as a Special Agent conducting, supervising and managing white collar crime investigations for the Office of Labor Racketeering, US Department of Labor. Don served as the Special Agent In Charge of field offices in Chicago and Cleveland.
• 13 years of experience in senior management with the Office of Special Investigations, US Government Accountability Office, managing oversight investigations requested by committees of the US Senate and House of Representatives. Don served as the Deputy Director for Investigations and Acting Director of the Office of Special Investigations.
• Don also served as a Criminal Investigator while on active duty with the US Army.
