Profile
Perry is the head of the firm’s Fund Finance Team.
Perry has an extensive financing practice that focuses on private investment fund and energy-related secured transactions. He has advised many leading global financial institutions in secured fund financings including NAV, hybrid, and subscription facilities to hedge fund, fund of fund, and private equity debtors. His practice also routinely involves advising global financial institutions as agents, lead arrangers and creditors in syndicated lending transactions to leading energy and commodity companies. Perry has substantial experience helping clients identify and efficiently address the complexities that present in fund-related financings and complex cross-border transactions. He is also a regular contributor to legal thought leadership through his leadership positions with the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section and other industry groups.

- Representation of a leading financial institution in a $200 million hybrid fund financing involving a global asset manager.
- Representation of a global financial institution as administrative agent and lender in a $2.2 billion secured financing transaction syndicated among more than 20 lenders to a leading diversified midstream master limited partnership.
- Representation of a global financial institution as administrative agent and lender in connection with a $700 million syndicated, secured revolving credit facility to a leading private equity sponsor.
- Representation of a global financial institution as administrative agent and lender on a $500 million syndicated, secured term loan facility to a leading private investment fund firm.
- Representation of a leading corporation in the supermarket industry as a borrower in its secured financings involving a credit facility and two note purchase agreements, with aggregate commitments totaling $350 million.
- Representation of a global financial institution as lender in a $150 million secured term loan facility to a leading hedge fund sponsor.
- Representation of the US Treasury Auto Task Force as lender under debtor-in-possession (DIP) and exit financings in connection with the General Motors bankruptcy and related restructuring.
- Representation of a global financial institution as lender in a $125 million syndicated, secured revolving credit facility to a leading midstream energy company.
