Erica Lux is an associate in Dykema's Dallas office. She focuses her practice on commercial litigation. 

Erica Lux earned her J.D. from the Texas Tech University School of Law (May 2021). She is also a graduate of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Women’s Studies, Chemistry, and Biology. Prior to starting Law School, Erica worked for nearly ten years in sales, marketing, and event management in Dallas-Fort Worth and Lubbock, Texas.

Erica served as the Vol. 53 Managing Editor to the Texas Tech Law Review. In addition to her duties as Managing Editor, she served as a Civil Procedure Doctrinal Tutor in the Fall and was a Property Doctrinal Tutor in the Spring. Erica also worked for Prof. Richard Murphy as an Administrative Law Research Assistant during her final year of law school. As a second-year student, on top of her duties as a Staff Member for the Texas Tech Law Review, Erica competed in the National Criminal Procedure Moot Court Tournament, where her team finished in the quarterfinals, and also in the National Energy Law Moot Court Competition in the Spring. In her first year of law school, Erica was a finalist in the TTU Board of Barristers 1L Moot Court Competition. She also regularly participated as a panelist for Law School admissions events.

As a first-year intern, Erica split her summer between the Federal Public Defenders Office Appellate Division and McCleskey, Harriger, Brazill & Graf in Lubbock, Texas. She also participated as a volunteer during Texas's annual Pro Bono Spring Break. This past summer, Erica served as a federal judicial intern for Judge James Wesley Hendrix in the Northern District of Texas.
