Profile
Finn J. Lerno was partner in Plesner 1990-2018. He is now of counsel in Plesner's Corporate Finance team and is particularly engaged in M&A. Finn has helped clients in accomplishing numerous transactions, including a host of leading corporates at both the national and international level.
Finn has especially rendered assistance to industrial, pharmaceutical, technological, energy and construction businesses and always aims at keeping abreast of the framework applicable to the individual sectors and being updated as to the relevant market conditions.
He also provides advisory services on corporate law and other commercial law.
Finn is chairman of the board of directors of Dow AgroSciences Danmark A/S. Finn was a member of the Expert Committee on Corporate Law of the Association of Danish Law Firms from 2009-2018, and he has served as an officer of the International Bar Association's Corporate and M&A Law Committee since 2010.
Finn was a member of Plesner's board of directors 1990-1994, 1996-2001 and 2009-2013, and he was chairman of Plesner's Foreign Relations Committee 2004-2014.
Finn has consistently been recognised as a "leading individual" in Denmark with respect to M&A by the most prominent international rating publications, Legal 500 and Chambers. In the 2019 edition of Chambers Global Finn was the only one in Denmark, ranked as an "Eminent Practitioner" in Corporate M&A. In addition, in 2018 he was inducted into Legal 500's Hall of Fame.
