Profile
Gillian Nassisi works as an associate in our Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Department of Walder Wyss in Geneva. He assists clients in all types of contractual and commercial disputes, as well as in criminal proceedings, and represents them before the civil and criminal courts. His expertise includes namely commercial law, asset recovery, white-collar crime and international mutual assistance in criminal matters.
Gillian Nassisi studied at the University of Fribourg, where he obtained a bilingual Bachelor of Law (German-French) as well as of Philosophy in 2017. He obtained a Master of Law and Economics at HEC Lausanne (summa cum laude) in 2020, and then obtained the Certificate of Advanced Legal Studies (Ecole d'avocature) at the University of Geneva in 2021. He completed the final semester of his Master at the Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome. During his studies, Gillian Nassisi represented the University of Fribourg at the René Cassin moot court competition in Strasbourg, where he and his team reached the semi-finals. He is also very familiar with the Courts as he worked for several years as a law clerk of the Criminal and Labour Chambers of the District Court of La Côte. Prior to joining Walder Wyss, he worked at the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland (OAG) in the White-Collar Crime Division in Bern, which is in charge of the criminal prosecution of serious international crime in the areas of organized crime, money laundering, corruption and other economic offences, as well as in international mutual legal assistance procedures. He was admitted to the Bar in 2023.
He works in French, English and German. He is registered with the Geneva Bar and is admitted to practice throughout Switzerland.
