Mike Wilson focuses his practice on taxation, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures. He represents clients in a variety of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, defense, technology, food and beverage, real estate, and renewable energy. 

Mike handles tax structuring for mergers and acquisitions for private equity funds and strategic buyers and sellers (including ESOP transactions), prepares fund formation and governing documents for private equity funds, and advises family offices and institutional investors in their investments in private equity funds. He also negotiates and documents the tax provisions of credit agreements, representing lenders and administrative agents, as well as borrowers. His extensive experience also includes structuring real estate transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions, development, sales, like-kind exchanges, and conservation easements.

In addition, Mike represents corporations in equipment leasing transactions, represents taxpayers in disputes with state and local taxing authorities, and advises closely held businesses and their owners.

Prior to practicing law, Mike was a tax consultant with Arthur Andersen.
