Profile
Sam is an associate in the firm’s capital finance and real estate team. His practice includes commercial real estate transactions occurring throughout the country, including acquisitions, dispositions, loan originations and securitizations, due diligence, and leasing.
Sam assists in the representation of property owners and investors, borrowers, private equity funds, joint ventures, and financial institutions in connection with transactions involving real estate, including financing and equity investments. His experience includes drafting and negotiating documentation for the acquisition, leasing, and disposition of retail, office, multi-family and single-family portfolio projects, as well as secondary market lending transactions.
Sam also maintains an active pro bono practice, including participation in the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program with events such as monthly intake clinics, Housing Crisis Center clinics and the annual Wills Clinic. He has represented clients in residential evictions and various family law matters.
