Profile

Jacob C. Elberg focuses his practice in Corporate Real Estate and Government Relations. He represents large global companies in leasing and subleasing of office space throughout the U.S. and internationally and works with the City Attorney for the City of North Miami Beach. 


Previously, Mr. Elberg represented some of the nation’s largest lenders in financial institution litigation, including mortgage foreclosure and loss mitigation. He also worked with the Interim City Attorney for the City of Doral, drafted and negotiated commercial leases for franchisee business owners, and assisted with probating Florida timeshares.


Before joining Greenspoon Marder, Mr. Elberg served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Joseph P. Oxley, P.J.Cv., and the Honorable Lourdes Lucas, J.S.C. in the Civil Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Monmouth Vicinage. In this role, he was a certified mediator, helping parties settle small claims disputes.


Mr. Elberg earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law. During law school, he worked as a judicial intern for The Honorable Freda L. Wolfson, Chief Judge, at the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. He also holds a Bachelor of General Studies in Communications with a minor in Journalism from the University of Kansas.
