Jagdeep advises clients on a broad range of environmental issues.

Jagdeep counsels clients on regulatory and compliance matters across a range of environmental statutes, including the Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), and more. He is experienced in assisting clients facing litigation and enforcement action, and he has assisted clients in responding to emergency incidents. Jagdeep also has experience in advising clients relating to renewable energy projects.

Jagdeep is a registered professional engineer in the state of Maryland. Prior to law school, he worked as an environmental engineer for more than 10 years, focusing on stormwater management, water distribution system management, and due diligence of projects, including environmental impact assessments.

• Counsel an electric client regarding environmental investigation and cleanup obligations relating to alleged unauthorized discharges into a major river.
• Advise a manufacturing client on environmental matters, including compliance and advocacy on regulatory requirements
• Assist a mid-stream company in its response to a major fire at its California facility.
• Advise clients on environmental due diligence required for renewable energy projects
• Assist clients with environmental due diligence required for real estate transactions
• Assist a major client in responding to a criminal investigation by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
