Jamie assists clients with matters involving environmental compliance, regulatory enforcement defense and litigation.

In addition to representing clients on a wide range of complex environmental issues arising before administrative agencies and in litigation in state and federal courts, Jamie has litigation experience representing clients in commercial contract and real estate disputes in California superior courts. She is admitted to practice before the US District Court for the Northern District of California.

Prior to obtaining a Juris Doctor degree, Jamie received a Master of Environmental Law and Policy degree from Vermont Law School. While in law school, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Beth Labson Freeman in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.

Relevant Experience

  • Representing a former semiconductor manufacturer at a National Priorities List Superfund Site in northern California.
  • Representing an international retail company in the defense of Proposition 65 citizen suit matters.
  • Assisting clients in navigating state and federal laws to remediate or develop brownfields sites in California.
  • Represented farming clients in lease dispute involving agricultural lands.
  • Achieved favorable $130,000 settlement after mediation on behalf of clients in residential construction defect case.
  • Advised and counseled mobile home park owners on California Mobilehome Residency Law requirements; represented owners during mediation with tenant.
