Janelle Alleyne is a healthcare attorney with a multifaceted practice. She is focused on representing health systems, hospitals, physician groups, behavioral health facilities, and other healthcare providers in various transactional, regulatory and compliance matters, internal investigations, surveys, corporate compliance, licensing, and self-disclosures. Janelle frequently advises her clients in all phases of the mergers and acquisitions process, assisting through the timeline of transactions – from due diligence to closing.

Additionally, Janelle advises clients on the regulatory and compliance aspects of EMTALA and medical staff issues.

Outside of her healthcare work, Janelle previously served as assistant solicitor and assistant city attorney for the City of Valdosta and as litigation counsel in a variety of civil litigation matters.

Janelle previously worked with the Health Law Partnership as a children's advocate, working primarily in securing Social Security income benefits for those previously denied coverage. In addition to her J.D., she has a Certificate in Health Law, as well as a Master of Public Health degree.
