Profile
Jason Jordan draws upon his experience as a judicial clerk at the Texas Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit to develop arguments that will resonate with decision makers and to convey those arguments in a clear and persuasive manner. Jason also has a unique background that has instilled in him an appreciation for hard work and careful planning, which are key components to successfully resolving complex disputes. Jason learned the value of a solid work ethic while growing up doing chores on his family’s farm and ranch, and he came to appreciate the importance of strategy and good relationships after working in government affairs at the U.S. capital. He is passionate about applying these principles to help his clients at every stage of litigation in trial courts, before arbitration tribunals, and on appeal in both state and federal forums.
Jason has experience representing clients in all stages of complex litigation. He has prepared winning trial and appellate briefs on a variety of topics ranging from breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and tort claims to claims for trademark infringement. Jason has assisted with representing clients from a number of industries, including the energy, financial, and transportation sectors.
Jason has co-written articles on post-trial motions and pre- and post-judgment interest that have been featured in the State Bar of Texas Litigation Section Journal and CLE courses focused on appellate practice.
Outside of the office, Jason is active in the bar and his community. He is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, the Appellate and Litigation sections of Texas State Bar, and the Texas Supreme Court Historical Society. Locally, Jason serves on the Executive Committee for the Dallas Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, and he is a member of the Appellate and Business Litigation sections of the Dallas Bar Association. Jason was an Associate in the Higginbotham Inn of Court for 2014-2015.
