Javier Otegui, certified public accountant, works mainly in the Tax Advice and Tax Compliance Team. Master in Tax Law from the School of Law of the University of Montevideo - UM. Professor of Tax Franchises at the Tax Master&s Program of the University of Uruguay, School of Economics. He was a professor in 2010 and 2011 of the Master's degree in Accounting and Taxes of the ORT University of Uruguay in the Chair of Offshore Taxation. He is member of the Uruguayan Institute of Tax Studies and of the Chamber of Accountants of Uruguay. Taking part in the Local Team and International Team, its goal being to minimize tax costs, designing tax planning structures. His practice includes advising in preferential tax regimes, such us free-trade zones, free ports, trading in Uruguay and offshore, including local corporations, tax-free zone corporations as well as High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI).
