Jeff focuses his practice on representing clients in connection with structured physical and financial energy transactions, master trading agreements, compliance with energy market rules and regulations, and regulatory matters before the FERC.

Jeff has been both president and, previously, general counsel of a major bank-affiliated energy trading and marketing company. He has also been general counsel of a major public utility-affiliated energy merchant and trading company. Earlier in his career, Jeff was lead FERC counsel for a major public utility and represented the company in both natural gas and electric matters before the FERC. While an advisory attorney at the FERC, Jeff was lead counsel for natural gas pipeline proceedings in connection with Order No. 636 and rulemaking proceedings associated with Order No. 636.
