Profile
Jeffrey H. Kapor focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions and various corporate matters. He has developed particular experience in the Apparel Industry. He has guided apparel and other consumer clients through their start-ups, capital transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. He works closely with investment bankers, structuring creative acquisitions, and financing vehicles. Mr. Kapor represents:
- Apparel industry manufacturers, importers, retailers, converters, textile companies, factors, and banks
- Purchasers, sellers, and financial advisors in mergers and acquisition transactions
- Debtors and creditors in restructuring transactions
- Contractual matters including licensing and distribution agreements
- Private investment funds and other investors in private debt and equity financing
- Corporate structure and operations
Mr. Kapor is Chair of the firm’s Consumer Products, Apparel and Textiles Practice Group and a former member of the firm’s Board of Directors. He has served as Judge Pro Tem in the Los Angeles Municipal Court and is an arbitrator for the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
