Profile
João is a managing associate in the Public Law practice. With over 20 years of experience, João specialises in the design and implementation of relationship strategies between companies and public institutionsHe applies and develops the experience he has gained both as a lawyer and in public institutions.
João advises and acts for companies, NGOs and public institutions in a wide range of sectors, including construction, concessions, infrastructure, transport, water, waste and sanitation, energy, life sciences, service contracts, media, finance, public finance or the civil service.
With a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, Joao has also completed a university extension course in arbitration at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a postgraduate course in administrative litigation law at the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
Before joining PLMJ, Joao worked at the law firms SRS, Linklaters, Sérvulo and Vieira de Almeida.
