In law school, Jordan completed externships at the Ohio Supreme Court, the Franklin County Auditor, and the Property Action division of the Columbus City Attorney. In addition, he served as a Board Fellow for IMPACT Community Action in Columbus.

Jordan volunteers with multiple urban development and housing organization in Columbus and is a member of the Planning and Development Committee of the Clintonville Area Commission.
