Profile

Julia’s practice focuses on energy markets and government relations.

Julia represents clients on federal issues impacting energy sectors as well as data security and privacy issues.

Prior to the firm, Julia was press secretary for US Congressman Steve Scalise and a summer law clerk in the House’s Energy and Commerce Committee. While at the House she assisted House counsels in preparing for legislative markups and hearings, conducted research and prepared questions for congressmen to ask witnesses for the record, and reviewed document production from the EPA, as well as performing press duties including preparing press releases and statements and coordinating media events.

Julia was a summer law clerk at the firm in 2013 and at Kean Miller LLP in 2012. Prior to law school, Julia worked in the advertising industry as an art director, where she was responsible for brand strategy and communications.

Julia is a regular contributor to the firm’s Nickel Report blog, which discusses trends in environmental law, and the Retail Law Resource blog.
