Kamonwan is a senior attorney in the Bangkok office with extensive experience in corporate governance and board advisory.

With more than 25 years of experience, Kamonwan has played a leading role as company secretary at large corporate enterprises, including serving for more than 10 years at reputed multinational firms in Thailand. In her role as company secretary, she brought insightful and practical advice to her clients, particularly with regard to overseas investments and cross-border corporate transactions.

She has also been involved in a number of high profile mergers and acquisitions transactions, and advises on regulatory compliance throughout all stages of such transactions.

Kamonwan is passionate about improving her knowledge and skills. She has acquired many certificates over the years, including a litigation training certificate from the Association of Thai Lawyers in 1992; a Registered Patent Agent Training certificate from the Department of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Commerce in 2000; a certificate in intellectual property law from the Thai Bar Association in 2001; a certificate as a registered attorney qualified to certify signatures for public limited companies from the Department of Business, Ministry of Commerce in 2002; a certificate as a Registered Notarial Services Attorney from the Association of Thai Lawyers in 2003; and Company Secretary Program and Effective Minute Taking certificates from the Thai Institute of Directors in 2008. 

Relevant Experience

• Represented a Thai-listed company with integrated businesses in power and utilities development across Thailand and internationally in its capital increase and the THB 333 million sale of newly issued shares in private placement to Macquarie Bank Limited and rights offering to existing shareholders by means of a general mandate.
