Before joining Han Kun in 2017, Mr. Liao practiced as an associate in the Shanghai office of King & Wood Mallesons.
Mr. Liao specializes in general banking matters, fintech, asset management transactions, blockchain and cryptocurrency, real property finance, and financial institution set-up and investment. Mr. Liao represents various commercial banks in a variety of financing transactions, including structured finance, acquisition finance, and real property finance. Mr. Liao assists fintech enterprises in product design and compliance, investing in fintech enterprises, investing in and setting up financial institutions. Mr. Liao also represents trust companies in a variety of domestic and cross-border asset management transactions.
