Katherine focuses her practice on commercial litigation in state and federal courts.
Katherine is a litigator who represents clients in business disputes and complex commercial litigation, including class actions, involving claims for breach of contract, fraud, deceptive trade practices, and negligence. She has handled disputes in Texas state and federal courts and the American Arbitration Association and has counseled clients in a variety of industries, including the financial services, education, and healthcare industries. Katherine also maintains an active pro bono practice, which recently included assisting the American Bar Association with an amicus brief filed in the Supreme Court of the United States.
During law school, Katherine interned for the Hon. Sam Sparks in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas and worked as a student attorney for the University of Texas School of Law’s Housing Clinic. Following law school, Katherine clerked for the Hon. Mark Fuller in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama and the Hon. Ed Carnes in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Katherine is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Texas.
