Katie is an Associate in the Construction team, is based in the Manchester office and specialises mainly in non-contentious construction law and practice. She also has experience in assisting on construction disputes, dealing with document management, research and case preparation.

Katie deals with the drafting and negotiation of building contracts, consultant appointments, deeds of novation, letters of reliance and collateral warranties and is experienced in acting for funders, developers, contractors and sub-contractors.

Katie graduated in 2017 from the University of Liverpool with an LLB in Law with Accounting and Finance and undertook the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Manchester, graduating with a distinction in 2020.

Katie previously worked as a paralegal in the Manchester Construction team, joining Shoosmiths in June 2018. Katie completed her training contract at Shoosmiths and qualified as a solicitor in March 2022.
