Kesara has also acted for both local and international clients based in Thailand and offshore for distressed assets sale and purchase. 

Before joining Hunton Andrews Kurth, Kesara was a senior associate of Mayer Brown, Thailand office.

• Advised the developer of a first class luxury resort and residence in Phuket on all legal matters for the project and prepared all legal documents and agreements for this project.
• Advised a Dubai-based international property developer on the development and sale of their high-end luxury villas in Samui Island.
• Advised a UK asset management company on the acquisition of property in Muang Thong Thani project through its UK based property funds.
• Acted for a UK based foods manufacturer in its acquisition of poultry processing facilities in Thailand.
• Advised a Swiss multinational food and drink processing conglomerate corporation on its global acquisition of a US based pharmaceutical corporation’s nutrition business.

Restructuring and Insolvency

• SET-listed fixed line telephone operator – Advised major creditors in its restructuring.
• Southeast Asia’s largest producer of hot rolled steel sheet in coils (HRC) – Advised lead bank creditor in its court-supervised restructuring.
• NPL Auctions – Advised international financial institutions and funds for acquisition of NPL portfolios offered for sale by various local commercial banks and state-owned development banks.
