Laura is a lawyer from the Universidad de los Andes with a specialization in economic and social studies from the University of Notre Dame, a master's degree in international business from IE Business School and an LL.M. from Northwestern University.
She has a broad international profile and professional experience in the electricity, oil and gas sector, as well as in compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate law.
As a member of the Private M&A practice team, Laura advises domestic and foreign private equity and corporate clients on private M&A transactions in a wide range of industries. Laura works regularly in the development of due diligence processes, as well as in the structuring of projects for the sale of shares and assets and the definition of efficient schemes for the formalization of investments in companies, both public and private, of different sectors of the economy.
