Laurie’s practice focuses on a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters.
Laurie is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses on a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters, including securities litigation and arbitration, involving major financial institutions and accounting firms, class actions, and more recently construction litigation. Laurie has represented brokerage firms and brokers in litigation and arbitrations pending before the National Association of Securities Dealers and the New York Stock Exchange. In addition, she has experience working with registered investment advisory firms to insure the firms are in compliance with applicable Securities Exchange Act provisions. Prior to joining the firm, Laurie worked with and served on the board for a privately held registered investment advisory firm primarily involved in serving as the trustee for privately held employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs).
