Lukasz Szegda, a legal adviser, specialises in the financing of transactions, including acquisition finance, secured and structured financing, project finance, re-financing, and real estate finance. His experience includes advising lenders on major debt restructuring projects, and he has represented clients in financial litigation as well as restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings. He frequently advises clients on regulatory related with securitisation, consumer credit programmes, FinTech as well as innovative financial solutions.

Lukasz is also an officer of the IBA's Banking Law Committee, and a former Chair of its Financial Innovations Subcommittee.

Significant Accomplishments
Lukasz heads the Banking & Project Finance practice of Wardynski & Partners since 2009.
He has been regularly involved in large financing and debt restructuring matters and for multiple years has been recommended in the areas of banking & finance as well as in restructuring & insolvency in the leading international legal directories including Chambers Europe, Chambers Global, Legal 500 and IFLR.
Lukasz is also an officer of the Banking Law Committee in the International Bar Association, and a former Chair of its Financial Innovations Subcommittee.
He currently is a leader of the WSG Banking & Finance Practice Group (Europe) and a member of the WSG European Council.
