Profile

Luke Yordy is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group. His practice primarily focuses on the prosecution and enforcement of patents and trademarks, both domestically and abroad. Luke is a registered patent agent and has worked on dozens of patent applications in fields such as medical devices, construction equipment, building hardware, firearms and accessories, crafting tools, cosmetics, and communications. 

Luke received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he was managing editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review and a John W. Wade Scholar. He has an M.B.A. and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering (magna cum laude) from the University of Alabama. During his time at Vanderbilt Law School, Luke earned five Scholastic Excellence Awards in the subjects of Civil Procedure, Property Law, Legal Writing I, Patents, and Intellectual Property Survey. He also had his student note, The Library of Babel for Prior Art: Using Artificial Intelligence to Mass Produce Prior Art in Patent Law, published in the Vanderbilt Law Review.
