Maarten is an expert in real estate law. He has a strong track record of real estate transactions, transfer of real estate companies, property development, security rights and real estate aspects of corporate transactions and financing.

Maarten advises institutional and private equity investors, developers, governments and financial institutions on a broad range of real estate related matters. He is known as an innovative thinker with a strong business acumen.

Before joining Van Doorne, Maarten spent fifteen years in real estate and M&A with two other major law firms. He was based in Amsterdam and in London. Maarten also gained in-house experience in the legal team of a financial institution.
