A member of the energy and infrastructure team, Margaret’s practice focuses on the financing, project development and acquisition of renewable energy projects.
Since joining the firm, she has focused primarily on representing clients on matters relating to the development, construction, financing, acquisition and sale of energy and infrastructure assets, with an emphasis on renewable energy developments. Margaret is familiar with various transaction structures, including partnership-flip tax equity investment and traditional project financing.
Relevant Experience
- Represented the tax equity investor in the financing of the largest solar project in California subject to a power purchase agreement with a community choice aggregator (CCA) (as of commencement of operations).
- Represented developer in acquisition and financing of a 150 MW solar project in California.
- Represented the tax equity investor in the financing of an approximately 130 MW wind project in California.
- Represented the tax equity investor in the financing of the largest block of utility scale solar projects in Hawaii (as of commencement of operations).
- Represented tax equity investors in the financing of several portfolios of distributed generation solar systems.
- Represented the tax equity investor in the financing of one of the largest solar projects in New England.
- Represented the renewables division of a major public US corporation in the financing of a battery storage facility in California.
- Represented a utility holding company in connection with debt offerings under Regulation S and Rule 144A.
