Profile
Maria McIntyre is an associate in Dykema’s Austin and Dallas offices where she focuses her practice primarily on business and commercial litigation.
Ms. McIntyre graduated from Baylor University School of Law in May 2020. While in law school, Ms. McIntyre competed in several interscholastic moot court and mock trial competitions and received the Order of the Barristers distinction for her commitment to advocacy. Ms. McIntyre placed as a semi-finalist in Baylor’s “Mad Dog” Mock Trial Competition and was the regional champion of the 2019 American Association of Justice Mock Trial Competition.
Ms. McIntyre also served as a judicial intern in both federal and state court. Ms. McIntyre worked in the chambers of the Honorable Martin Hoffman of the 68th District Court in Dallas, Texas. Ms. McIntyre also worked in the chambers of the Honorable Jeffrey Manske of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.
Before law school, Ms. McIntyre earned her Masters of Business Administration from Mount. St. Mary’s University in Maryland, her alma mater. During this time, she received a certificate in Project Management and specialized in Project Risk Management.
