I have advised leading public and private sector clients – including Rio Tinto, Energy Queensland, the Queensland Government and Stanwell Corporation – on significant and transformational projects and corporate matters. In recent years I have focussed on regulatory and commercial aspects of the energy transition working exclusively with Government and Government Owned Corporations. • Queensland Government – external counsel to the Department of Energy and Climate on the legislative implementation of the Queensland Energy and Jobs plan, and the $5bn ‘CopperString’ project
• Queensland Government – lead external counsel to Queensland Treasury for the $24 billion merger of Energex and Ergon Energy, which was awarded Energy & Resources Deal of the Year at the 2017 Australasian Law Awards
