Patent prosecution counsel for biotech clients
Michael Neary has experience managing client intellectual property (IP) matters such as freedom-to-operate analysis, trademark analysis and IP assignment drafting. He also has worked on drafting operating agreements, liability waivers, independent contractor agreements and confidentiality agreements.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael worked for a pharmaceutical company assisting with strategic planning of the company’s drug development pathway and business development efforts. In addition, he helped raise money in equity investment and co-authored successful grant proposals that secured research funding for the company. Michael’s experience in the industry allows him to put himself in his client’s shoes, thus enabling him to provide advice that is tailored to their strategic goals and developmental objectives.
