Mikijs Zimecs specialises in IT and data protection law and has an in-depth legal knowledge about data protection matters in Latvia and the European Union and has wide insight in the fields of information security and technology, which allows him to provide the client with comprehensive advice. His level of expertise is confirmed by Data Protection Officer's certificate issued by the Latvian Data State Inspectorate. Also, Mikijs is experienced in various other legal fields such as commercial law, mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property protection. He is participating in national and cross-border transactions and advises companies on the implementation of new technologies into their businesses.
