Profile
Homegrown at TSMP since her intern days, Nadia is part of our corporate transactional team with a specialisation in mergers and acquisitions. However, you could say that her real specialty is in getting to know her clients and their businesses, adopting a personal approach to building deep relationships in her practice.
Over the years, Nadia has worked with a wide spectrum of clients including Mainboard-listed public companies, start-ups and foreign entities. Having previously been a current affairs producer for Mediacorp’s Channel NewsAsia, Nadia is deft at marrying real-life information and a solid legal foundation to deliver consistent practical advice to her clients.
Formerly awarded the Rising Star Award from her alma mater Singapore Management University, Nadia believes in building up the next generation of lawyers and looks after TSMP’s recruitment processes.
Outside of law, Nadia bears a big heart for the community. She has served for 15 years on a number of charitable organisations and boards including the National Youth Council and the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations, and as a Panel Adviser to the Youth Court. She is also the youngest district councillor at South East Community Development Council. Here and elsewhere, she acts as a “Big Sister” to youths-at-risk, including ex-offenders and teenagers living in rental flats.
There doesn’t seem to be enough hours in a day to do everything Nadia wishes, but she manages her time with the same exacting ferocity as she manages her files, so you will often find the night owl sending out emails past midnight and tending to her houseplants in the morning. Conversant in English, Malay, Bahasa Indonesia and Mandarin, Nadia is always happy to pick up the phone (or jump on a video-conferencing call!) to catch up with clients wherever they may be in the world.
