Profile

Nathan focuses his practice on intellectual property counseling, and particularly patent preparation and prosecution.  He is experienced in a wide array of technologies, including telecommunications (particularly relating to wireless communication standards), optical sensors and filters, network testing, networking, software, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and heavy equipment. Nathan is also adept at claim charting and other forms of IP analysis.

Nathan uses a systematic, top-down approach that relies on a client’s priorities and business goals to inform day-to-day strategy. To facilitate the achievement of these priorities and goals, Nathan defines and implements training and onboarding processes, guides strategy and style in view of targeted global jurisdictions, and creates resilient systems that ensure quality work product and consistent performance. Nathan has built and managed large teams of practitioners that implement these systems.

Outside of the office, you can find Nathan enjoying time with his three children or playing the piano.
