Profile
Nicolás Piaggio, lawyer, mainly works in the Banking and Corporate Department.
He is Professor of Banking Law at the Universidad de Montevideo. He has been Assistant Professor in Tax Law at the University of Uruguay and is a former member of the Editing Board of the Law Magazine of the Students Law Center.
He obtained a Master in Corporate Law at the University of Montevideo (2000). His experience includes the participation in financing transactions and debt restructurings, sovereign debt transactions (including a direct participation in the last two Uruguayan successful sovereign debt exchange), public and private securities offer, bank transactions in general, mergers and acquisitions.
