Pamela has extensive experience in the legal profession, specializing in Intellectual Property, where she assists clients in all aspects related with the registration, protection and defense of intellectual property rights, trademark and patents portfolio management, both locally and internationally. She also has knowledge leading due diligence processes, and strategy development in this field, including administrative and judicial litigation procedures. Pamela also has experience in product registration issues before different government authorities.She joined BLP as an associate in 2016, after serving as Head of the Intellectual Property Department of the law firm LatamLex for one year.Pamela graduated in Law and Social Sciences from Universidad Rafael Landívar in 2014, the same university where she obtained a Diploma in Copyrights and Related Rights back in 2012.She is currently a member of the Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) and a member of the Patent Committee of the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI). Pamela is also a founding member of the Guatemalan Intellectual Property Chamber (CAMPI) and a professor of the International Cooperation Course at the School of Law of Universidad Da Vinci.Pamela currently lives in Guatemala City.
