Prior to MinterEllison, I worked for a large Chinese state owned enterprise (SOE) for almost 10 years. I have worked in Asia Pacific Region and have held senior positions in the SOE in Australia and New Zealand, and was in charge of Public Relations, Government Relations and Sales.

I also held the position of former Vice President of China Chamber of Commerce in Australia (the largest organisation of Chinese investors in Australia), Victoria branch, where I had strong relations and broad connections with Chinese investors in Australia. I was also invited to attend major business events during Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to Australia, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott's visit to China, as well as Premier of Victoria Daniel Andrews' China visit over four consecutive years.

Career highlights

• Together with the MinterEllison team, I have acted for China Construction Oceania Pty Ltd as their General Counsel on legal issues, including two matters in relation to acquiring Australian local construction companies, a litigation case and several large infrastructure projects.
• Together with the MinterEllison team, I have acted for PowerChina Australia Development Pty Ltd as their General Counsel on legal issues including staff visa applications, office tower leasing, FIRB applications and other administrative matters. We also acted for a client on two matters in relation to acquiring renewable energy projects and other large infrastructure opportunities.
• Together with the MinterEllison team, I have acted for China Railway Construction Engineering Corporation on several large infrastructure opportunities including metros, tunnels, roads, bridges and highways in Australia.
• Together with the MinterEllison team, I have acted for China Railway Construction Corporation on several building and construction projects and large infrastructure bids, including high-speed rail and rail upgrades in Australia. MinterEllison have also acted for the client on a major litigation case in Australia.
• Together with the MinterEllison team, I have acted for China Mengniu Dairy Company Limited in relation to two major transactions in the dairy sector, several restructures and FIRB matters, and for Bellamy's Organic (one of their local subsidiaries) as external General Counsel.
• Together with the MinterEllison team, I have acted for Bright Food International Limited on a major restructure in Australia, corporate governance and HR matters.
• Together with the MinterEllison team, I have acted for China Resources Group on a large transaction in the energy sector.
• Together with the MinterEllison team, I have acted for Beingmate Group in relation to a JV arrangement with Fonterra Group in Darnum, Victoria.
