Paul practices in the area of capital finance and real estate.
Paul focuses on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, construction and real estate finance, real estate development and leasing, and loan workouts and restructuring.
Prior to joining Hunton & Williams LLP, Paul led an infantry squad as a staff sergeant in the United States Army. During his seven years of service he was deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan and Kosovo.
Relevant Experience
- Assisted a public company in the acquisition of frac sand mines with reserves valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars in Wisconsin.
- Assisted in preparing and negotiating long-term commercial leases.
- Assisted a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) with acquiring new properties for a multifamily housing portfolio.
