Profile
Paul L. Nystrom is a member of Dykema's Litigation Group. Mr. Nystrom's practice focuses on complex litigation matters, with emphasis on product liability, class action, commercial, business, real estate and health care litigation. Mr. Nystrom has represented clients in litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout the country. Mr. Nystrom has tried and arbitrated over two dozen cases. Mr. Nystrom has successfully represented clients in many areas of litigation, including:
- Product liability litigation, including representation of automobile and product manufacturers in lawsuits filed throughout the United States
- General commercial, contract, and UCC litigation including representation of original equipment manufacturers in a wide variety of commercial cases, either defending or seeking recovery for damages arising out of various contractual relationships
- Class action defense
- Appellate litigation
- Fraud, tortious interference, and other business torts
- Premises, construction and auto negligence litigation
- Insurance litigation
- Real estate and land use litigation, including disputes regarding easements, covenants, leases, zoning, signs/advertising and condemnation

Professional Career
Graves v Warner Bros., 253 Mich App 539; 656 NW2d 195 (2003), reversing the judgement of the trial court and ordering entry of a judgement in favor of Warner Bros.
Williams v City of Rochester Hills, 243 Mich App 539; 625 NW2d 64 (2001), affirming summary disposition for the City of Rochester Hills in an action arising out of a challenge to the enforceability of a municipal zoning ordinance.
