Randy assists clients with the development and financing of energy and infrastructure projects and other cross-border commercial transactions in the Asia-Pacific region.

As an associate admitted to practice in California, Randy focuses on energy and infrastructure project development and finance and other cross-border commercial transactions in the Asia-Pacific region.

Before joining the firm, Randy served as a foreign attorney in the corporate team of Bae, Kim & Lee and Lee & Ko in Seoul, South Korea. He assisted clients in relation to cross-border mergers and acquisitions, antitrust matters, healthcare matters, as well as other general corporate matters.

Relevant Experience

• Represented the SET-listed and the country’s first independent power producer, Electricity Generating Public Co., Ltd. (EGCO), on all aspects of its multimillion dollar, cross-border acquisition of a 25 percent ownership interest in the 640 MW Yunlin Offshore Wind Power Farm, currently under project finance and construction off the coast of Yunlin County, Taiwan ROC.
• Represented Regional Development Bank in Asia as and Thai commercial bank as lenders’ counsel on approximately USD 20 million financing to complete the supply and installation works for the Lomligor 10 MW wind power facility with an integrated 1.4 MWh battery energy storage system in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, Thailand. The main finance documents were recently signed in May 2020, making this project the first integrated wind power and energy storage system in Thailand.
• Represented a venture capital firm as to the acquisition of a significant stake in leading Southeast Asia food delivery and other delivery services provider.
