Bekah focuses primarily on labor and employment law matters with an emphasis on wage and hour compliance and litigation, traditional labor law, employment discrimination, workplace harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, non-compete and non-solicitation covenants, family and medical leave compliance, and employment policies, handbooks and contracts.
Bekah is admitted to practice in the US District Courts for the Northern District of Georgia and Middle District of Georgia, and the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Bekah was a law clerk for the Honorable William C. O’Kelley of the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia from 1999–2001, prior to which she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable P. Harris Hines of the Georgia Supreme Court and the Honorable Frank M. Hull of the US Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

- Represents employers in wage and hour litigation, including in complex class litigation in state and federal courts.
- Provides advice and counseling regarding union organizing campaigns, collective bargaining, and unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
- Defended online retailer regarding unfair labor practice charges before the NLRB related to a workforce reduction as a result of COVID-19.
- Defended employers in Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) collective actions for unpaid overtime compensation.
- Defended employer in class action suit alleging violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Represents employers in federal and state litigation, arbitration, EEOC proceedings, DOL proceedings and NLRB proceedings.
- Advises management in compliance strategies in the areas of wage and hour, employment discrimination, workplace harassment, retaliation, medical leave, wrongful discharge, traditional labor law, non-compete and non solicitation covenants, trade secret protection, unemployment benefits, termination of employment, employment contracts, and workplace policies and procedures.
- Assists employers and executives in drafting and analyzing employment-related documents including employee policies and handbooks, employment agreements, severance agreements and noncompete agreements.
- Appellate experience in the United States Courts of Appeals for the D.C., Second, Fifth, Seventh, and Ninth Circuits, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court.
- Experience with large document productions and e-discovery issues.
