Profile
Robert Morales is a Director at BLP in San Jose, specializing in Dispute Resolution. He provides advice and representation to national and international companies before administrative bodies in areas such as Consumer Law, Unfair Competition, and various commercial, banking, agrarian, criminal, and contentious issues. He has represented clients in both national and international arbitration proceedings, addressing civil liability and intellectual property, among others. Additionally, he has taught Law courses at the Universidad Metropolitana Castro Carazo. BLP advised ADIDAS in a multi-million dispute brought by its former distributor in Costa Rican courts.
BLP advises Chiquita Brands International Sàrl in various claims against certain companies with which it participates as a partner.
BLP advises Kraft Heinz in various distribution lawsuits. BLP’s litigation team advises and supports the client in this complex situation where the case began with a lawsuit against the client followed by a counterclaim to the initial lawsuit for breach of contract and consequential damages.
