Profile

Sadie Shourd is an associate in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group. She represents public and privately held companies in connection with divestures, acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, financing transactions, securities filings, and a variety of other general corporate matters. Sadie supports businesses in transactions across an array of industries, including technology, communications, energy, and media and entertainment. In addition, Sadie maintains an active pro bono practice advising nonprofit corporations on corporate governance and contractual matters.

Sadie received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she served as a notes editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review and was a member of the Law and Business Society, the Women Law Students Association, the Entertainment and Sports Law Society, and Phi Delta Phi.
