Sarah’s practice encompasses a broad spectrum of commercial real estate and banking/finance transactions.

She offers comprehensive counsel on the acquisition and disposition of both raw land and income producing properties and the development of office, retail, industrial, multifamily and healthcare projects. Sarah’s banking and finance experience includes the representation of equity investors, sponsors, project companies and lending institutions in a variety of financing arrangements, including credit facilities secured by commercial real estate, oil and gas assets and other commercial assets. She is also a trusted advisor of lending institutions and other secured creditors in the administration of non-judicial foreclosure proceedings.

  • Representation of hospitality management company in connection with a $400 million loan secured by hotels in 36 states
  • Representation of a privately-held barge and terminal operator headquartered in the Pacific Northwest in connection with its revolving credit facility
  • Representation of a midstream MLP in the amendment and restatement of its revolving credit facility secured by assets in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi and Texas, increasing the borrowing capacity under the facility to $900 million
  • Representation of a Houston-based developer in site acquisition, financing, construction and management of multiple assisted living facilities throughout Texas
  • Representation of a privately-held asset management firm in connection with an approximately $20 million construction loan for the development of a mixed-used building in Houston, Texas
  • Representation of a global alternative asset manager in a joint venture to acquire and reposition several multifamily projects in Georgia and Florida
  • Representation of a national lender in connection with an approximately $106 million loan secured by a 50-story, Class “A” multi-tenant office building in Dallas, Texas
  • Representation of an investment company in multiple joint ventures to acquire and develop properties throughout Texas, including a residential high-rise building in Dallas, a multi-phase industrial complex in Irving and a 250-unit apartment project in Houston
  • Representation of a privately-held energy exploration and production company headquartered in Louisiana in connection with its reserve-based revolving credit facility
  • Representation of a healthcare provider in the acquisition of an acute care hospital and medical office building on a 12-acre site in Sugar Land, Texas
  • Representation of a national lender in connection with the refinance of an approximately $65 million loan secured by a 27-story, Class “A” office building in the Central Business District of Cincinnati, Ohio
  • Representation of a Houston-based privately-held energy exploration and production company in connection with a $150 million revolving credit facility and a $11.25 million term facility for the acquisition of assets in South Texas
  • Representation of a global alternative asset manager in connection with a mezzanine loan made for the acquisition and construction of a 340-unit, Class “A” apartment project in Houston, Texas, which includes approximately 27,000 square feet of ground floor retail space
  • Representation of a national specialty retailer of home appliances, consumer electronics and other products in connection with a $375 million revolving credit facility and a $100 million term facility
  • Representation of a national bank in the administration of more than 150 foreclosure sales of a defaulted homebuilder’s subdivision lots located in five Texas counties
  • Representation of a national retail furniture company in site acquisition and development of a 985,000 square foot distribution warehouse and showroom facility named Best Industrial Project of 2010 by Houston Business Journal
  • Representation of a Houston-based privately-held company in connection with its $545 million credit facility and expansion of a hotel and casino project in Las Vegas, Nevada
