Sean practices in the area of capital finance and real estate.
Sean is an associate in the firm’s capital finance and real estate team. His practice focuses on representing owners, developers and financial institutions in various single and multi-property commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, real estate finance and development, due diligence, and corporate formations. His experience includes a wide variety of real estate asset classes, such as office parks and buildings, hotels, shopping centers and multi-family apartment complexes.
Sean’s pro bono activities includes working with the City Bar Justice Center in the representation of undocumented immigrant crime victims in U visa petitions, and in assisting Coast Guard service members in landlord-tenant disputes.
Relevant Experience
- Represented a global asset management company in the origination of a $65.8 million mortgage loan secured by an office building in Hoboken, New Jersey.
- Represented a financial services company in the refinance of a $179 million mortgage secured by a property located in Denver, Colorado.
- Represented a financial services company in the origination of a mortgage loan secured by 56 hotels across the country.
- Represented a global asset management company in the origination of a $76.5 million mortgage loan secured by an office property located in Springfield, Virginia.
- Represented World Wide Group in the $103.5 million acquisition of 110 Green Street, Brooklyn, New York, a 130-unit rental property located in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn. The transaction represents the first residential sale in excess of $100 million in the neighborhood. Hunton also represented World Wide Group on the $50 million acquisition loan for this project.
