Sergio is a senior associate at Consortium Legal – Nicaragua with 7 years of experience in the retail, construction, and hydrocarbon sectors. He has experience assisting in civil, corporate and insurance disputes, with strong participation in major environmental disputes and tax supervision processes. Member of the legal team in representation of a company of the hydrocarbon sector that was facing a judicial process with a claim for damages superior to US$ 150,000,000.00. The process involved the analysis of documentation gathered throughout the almost 20 years of background of the case, assistance in the design and execution of the proof strategy and finally collaboration in the design and execution of the transactional agreements with which a negotiation process favorable to the interests of the client was concluded.
Counsel in arbitration process promoted by conflict in the supply of modified asphalt in representation of a company of the hydrocarbon sector, which involved the design and execution of the strategy of the whole process, which culminated in an award in favor of the client for an amount superior to US$ 370,000.00.
