Prior to joining Han Kun, Mr. Dong worked for many years with another well-known
domestic law firm. Before that, Mr. Dong worked in Singapore.
Mr. Dong has extensive practical experience in a number of practice areas, including
real estate-related acquisitions, real estate project finance, mergers and acquisitions,
offshore securities offerings, etc. Mr. Dong advises major international and domestic
real estate funds, investment banks, real estate enterprises, warehousing and logistics
enterprises, multinational enterprises, listed companies and insurance companies on
their various equity acquisitions, asset acquisitions, real estate developments, real estate
project financings, leasing operations and property management in China, including
deal structuring, legal due diligence, drafting transaction documents, and business
negotiations. Mr. Dong has accumulated rich experience in practicing PRC law and
in handling complicated cross-border and onshore transactions.

Education
Mr. Dong graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law with a
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree. Afterwards, Mr. Dong received his Master of Laws
(LL.M.) degree from the law faculty of National University of Singapore. Mr. Dong
is currently a doctoral degree candidate in international law at East China University of
Political Science and Law.
